コレクション: パントフォラ ドーロ

In the beginning, there was wrestling. Yes, because Emidio Lazzarini was a wrestler in the 1950s who, dissatisfied with his uncomfortable and slippery ring shoes, decided to take over his father's shoemaking business to create his own pair of wrestling shoes. According to a footballer friend, the same discomfort was encountered on the soccer field, so how could an athlete perform at his best while wearing such tough leather boots? From this question, innovation was born: Emidio began using calfskin to make his shoes, and before long he was producing soccer boots for the entire Ascoli Piceno team. And not only that, because word reached John Charles, known as King John, the Welsh Juventus striker who, along with Boniperti and Sivori, formed the Magic Trio, and who insisted on trying them out. As if by magic, the uncomfortable shoe was transformed into a soft, lightweight shoe, and that's how Lazzarini's shoes were named Pantofola d'Oro.
