Collection: Vandom
For once, a man is born from a woman's rib. The Miranda family, who created the women's brand Kocca in 1996, presented their new brand Vandom at Pitti Uomo 96, dedicated to a contemporary man. "It's a return to our roots, really: our company was founded 30 years ago with men's clothing, which was then suspended with the creation of Kocca to focus resources on women's clothing," Domenico Miranda, Product Manager at Vandom, told FashionNetwork.com. "Two years ago, we decided to launch a men's brand, with a medium-high positioning, starting with outerwear and moving towards a total look. The name refers to the initials of my family members—Domenico, Anna, and Andrea—while the V symbolizes the 'go' of a new beginning." Vandom caters to the contemporary man, drawing inspiration from the market's smart-casual trends and the fusion of classic and modern. The innovative, high-performance fabrics are inspired by the outdoors and reinterpreted with a formal twist: two-way stretch fabrics with a knitted construction, windproof, breathable, and waterproof membranes, but above all, they are crease-resistant, allowing the garments to be rolled up even in a backpack.
