Collection: Think Pink

Founded in 1980 by Gianni Bailo as a division of Bailo—inspired by Franco Perlotto, whom the brand subsequently sponsored—it took its name from a free-climbing route established by Ron Fawcett, which was itself inspired by Henry Mancini's famous soundtrack. In the years that followed, the brand gained popularity in the casual wear market. Its logo, designed by Ciriano Zanon, was also licensed for use on non-apparel products (such as stationery) and was instantly recognizable thanks to its uniform color scheme. Acquired by the Tecnica Group in 1989, the brand grew to account for 10% of the group's clothing division before being sold in 2011 to Man Socks Italia S.r.l. The new owner renewed the trademark registration—originally filed in 1982—to include the United States, expanding Think Pink's scope of interest to encompass the electronics and IT sectors as well.
